Trauma Sensitive Yoga helps you learn to calm your mind, recognize/explore physicals sensations and emotions, thereby regulating responses to regain a feeling of safety inside your body. Trauma Sensitive Yoga is not designed to take you back to the source of your pain, but rather to help you become more aware of what's going on inside your body as Trauma can be held in the body. Once you tap into that, you can work on releasing built-up emotions, stress and tension. This flow also incorporates Hatha Yoga techniques, breathing exercises, and mindful meditation into its practice of physical poses which improves strength, flexibility, energy levels, focus, and cognitive performance. You will feel empowered and learn how to develop self trust and self regulation in order to take ownership of your life both on and off the mat!
